Peter Brady is a member of the Herts Referees Society.

Peter’s refereeing career started in 2002 with under 13s club matches followed by him joining the Herts Society in 2005. He is responsible for overseeing the development of new Society referees, presents development sessions to new referees in their 1st season and coaches a group of new and developing Society referees on Saturday afternoons.

He held the position of Chair of the Herts Society from 2001 to 2005 and is now the Society’s Recruitment and Retention Manager and an Honorary Life member.

Simon is a former employee of the RFU, current member of the Buckinghamshire Referees Society and the RFU Council Member for Buckinhamshire.

Dave Connolly-Mealing is Hon Sec of Somerset Rugby Referees Society (the oldest Society in the world). Dave was a bang average tighthead prop in his youth. The ‘good old days’ when scrums were set without words and everyone broke their necks; sometimes progress is a good thing.  He played through school until joining the Royal Navy in 1992 and played for a couple more years through training and University. His last competitive game was in 1997 and the only game he ever played for a club, running out as a guest for Plympton Victoria. Dave moved away from Rugby for 20 years due to work and family until he took up the whistle in 2016, inspired by the untimely death of Steve McKendrick, his friend and Navy colleague. Dave was voluntold by Bruce Marshall to become Hon Sec of Somerset RRS in 2019, a position he still holds indefinitely with little prospect of parole, the previous incumbent having served 18 years!  Dave is still an active referee for Somerset and although he retired from the Navy in 2017 he continues to referee for the RNRURS.

Independent Chair of the Regional 1 Management Group (RMG) and member of Staffordshire Rugby Union Society Of Referees (SRUSR Ltd) Executive. 

Outside of rugby Craig has worked in the Pharmaceutical sector and currently the Civil Service. 

He has degrees in Chemistry and Sport and Exercise Psychology.
