New Independent Chair for Regional 1 Management Group

Following the resignation of Craig Maxwell-Keys as the Independent Chair for the Regional 1 Management Board in September and following a competitive recruitment process, Peter Coultard has been appointed to the role.

Peter has significant experience of Level 5 rugby. Having refereed in Midland Group and South East Group across 8 seasons, he also has been a Performance Reviewer / Coach and selector at Level 5. Peter started his refereeing with Hampshire, moving onto Cambridge University & District and then London. He is currently the General Secretary of the London Society (a role he has held for over 8 years, having previously been the Assistant Secretary), and is a member of the RFU Laws Subcommittee.
